Hello 4th graders and parents!
School starts in 15 days! Are YOU ready? I am so excited to be teaching the 4th grade this year. A few things to remember:
Meet the Teacher Night: Monday, August 9 from 4-6 pm
School Starts: Thursday, August 12 at 7:45 am (school is now starting at 7:45 every morning, and getting out at 3:00 every afternoon).
Here is the 4th grade supply list. There are a TON of places having back to school sales right now. Some include Wal-Mart, Office Max, and Staples.
This year you will need:
1 clear backpack (any backpack used in class must be clear)
1 Webster's dictionary
12 #2 pencils (MUST be 6-sided wooden pencils - NO mechanical pencils!)
2 red pencils
12 blue or black pens (for grading)
3 highlighters (different colors)
3 whiteboard markers (fine-tip, any color)
1 whiteboard eraser
1-12" ruler with metric
Crayons (8 or 16 pack)
1 bottle Elmer's white glue
2 glue sticks
1 pair of scissors (Fiskars or Dura Sharp)
3 spiral notebooks (wide ruled)
1 3-ring binder (no larger than 1-1/2" AND no zippers)
5 dividers for the 3-ring binder (with holes)
8-10 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
1 package of graph paper
6 two pocket folders with tabs
1 water bottle
**Please note that your child will need to restock supplies throughout the year.
