April is almost over, and you know what that means! There is only about a month left of school. AIMS testing was last week, and I am so proud at the way the students handeled themselves during this time. We hardly had any behavior issues, and you all did your very best. Great job! We have one more field trip planned for this year. It is to the State Capitol. Once I have more information about this, I will post it. We will be needing parents volunteers, so if you would like to go, please make sure your fingerprints are on file with the front office.
Big changes are happening fourth quarter!!!!
There are two new policies for the fourth quarter of this school year in fourth grade. Please be aware that NO duplicate copies will be given this quarter. Also, late work will not be accepted more than one week after it is due. For example, if the spelling packet is due on Friday, it will not be accepted past the next Friday (for partial credit). However, no late assignments will be accepted after Friday, May 13, 2011, for any reason. This is due to the fact that the fourth quarter report cards will be finalized the next week.
Students will continue to have one day to make up work for every day that they are absent. However, all make up work must be turned in by Friday, May 13, 2011. Again, this is due to the fact that the fourth quarter report cards will be finalized the next week.
